David Arden founded Keys To Achievement Foundation in 2000. Mr. Arden has been a pedagogical innovator in the area of early-years music education for over 25 years. He was Assistant Professor at the University of California at San Diego and is the founder and Director of the New School of Piano in San Francisco, California. Mr. Arden is the author of "Creative Music-Making At The Piano", an instructional book for preschool age children. Mr. Arden is also an award-winning concert pianist and recording artist and has recorded for the Musica Magna, New Albion, CRI and KOCH International labels.



Stacey Frost is the founder and owner of Archiventure, a design and idea development firm that seeks to build urban environments that are economically sustainable, educational, and empower people within communities to live, work and thrive. Ms. Frost has also founded The Concentric Learning Process, a nonprofit that brings innovative ideas together to broaden educational methods for children from all economic backgrounds, cultures and communities. As a musician, teacher and mother, Ms. Frost is committed in working to bring music back into public schools.

Stephen Massey is a founding Director of Keys To Achievement Foundation. Mr. Massey was a Senior Nuclear Physicist at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory for 12 years before obtaining his MBA and entering the business world. He subsequently was Director of Corporate Planning at Michigan Consolidated Gas, among other executive positions. Mr. Massey has been a counselor for the Service Corps of Retired Executives since 1993.


Michael McGuire is President and Chief executive Officer of Affinity Bank. Mr. McGuire has served in a senior executive capacity at several financial institutions for over 36 years. He has held numerous trade association leadership positions and is currently Chairman of the California Bankers Association’s federal Governmental Relations Council. Mr. McGuire is also a Director of Social Compact, a national not-for-profit corporation whose mission is to strengthen neighborhoods by stimulating private market investment and helping families build wealth.


Tom Segal is a founding Director of Keys To Achievement Foundation. Mr. Segal is an award-winning choreographer and stage performer, as well as performing arts educator and California certified K-12 public school teacher with early-grade classroom teaching experience. He is currently on the faculty at Santa Rosa Junior College’s Theater Department. Mr. Segal has served on the performing arts advisory council for the Napa Valley public schools and founded a music theater workshop for them.
